Rajouri, June 3: The joint anti-terror operation “Sheruwali” continued for the twelfth day on Wednesday in the dense forests of Gambhir Mughlan and Dorimal in the Manjakote sector of Rajouri district.
The operation is being carried out by the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and CRPF after intelligence inputs suggested the presence of suspected terrorists in the area.
Security forces are conducting intensive search operations and checking identity cards of locals and travelers as part of tightened security measures.
Officials said the forces are working to contain the suspected militants within a limited area while search efforts continue in the difficult forest terrain.
The operation remains ongoing under heavy security, and the area is being closely monitored until it is fully cleared.
