Jammu: An ambulance parked at a workshop for servicing, rolled down into river Chenab in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, officials said. No one was present inside the ambulance when it plunged into the river near Ganpath bridge, they said. The CCTV footage of the incident shows the vehicle getting into reverse mode and crossing the road to the other side before disappearing after rolling down several hundred feet into the river.

'Sunday, July 3, 2022': An FIR was registered in Jaipur on Saturday night against a TV news anchor, BJP national spokesperson Rajyavardhan Rathore and others for allegedly spreading falsehood by doctoring Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s comment in Kerala to appear as if it was a remark on the Udaipur tailor’s murder. The FIR was registered on a complaint lodged by local Congress leader Ram Singh at the Banpark police station under IPC sections 504 (intentional insult), 505 (criminal intimidation), 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on ground of religion, race, place of birth, etc.), 295A (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) and 120B (criminal conspiracy).
'Sunday, July 3, 2022': Residents in Jammu and Kashmir’s Tuksan village near Reasi apprehended two heavily armed Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants alive Sunday morning and handed them over to the police, according to officials. The police identified the militants as Faizal Ahmed Dar, son of Bashir Ahmed Dar from Pulwama and Talib Hussain, son of Haider Shah from Rajouri. Two AK-47 rifles, seven grenades and a pistol were seized from them, said the police. Hussain, a self-styled LeT commander, was on the run after his two associates, Mohammad Shabir and Mohammad Sadiq, both residents of Draaj village in Rajouri, were arrested last Tuesday, said the police.

Preparations are being made on bringing investment proposals of Rs 50,000 to 60,000 crore in Jammu and Kashmir during the budget announcement next year.
