APRIL 2: Chief Justice of J&K and Ladakh Tashi Rabstan said that New Criminal Laws will be effective in combatting the drug menace from society.
Chief Justice Tashi Rabstan said this during a seminar organised by J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu in conjunction with Criminologists Society of J&K lawyers’ chambers.
Tashi Rabstan pitched inclusive and holistic approach to combat drug menace in two Union Territories. He added that he would sensitize students in schools and colleges through skits and dramas during his tenure as chairperson of the State Legal Services Authority, in addition to panel discussions with lawyers.
Chief Justice exhorted upon all the lawyers to combat drug menace and stand in unison for the fight against drug menace.
