MARCH 22: On Saturday, PoJK authorities handed over mortal remains of two persons to Indian counterparts along LoC.
The two persons Yasir Hussain Shah and Asiya Bano both residents of Uri in Baramulla were drowned in Jehlem river on March 5.
In the course of search, Yasir Shah’s body was spotted near Kaman post on March 20.
As per the officials, Police and rescue teams tried to fish out the body but it drifted to other side of Line of Control.
When the officials across LoC took matter both the bodies were eventually fish out.
The officials from Uri received the mortal remains.
