JUNE 12: Asserting that the essences of people from all walks of life get fulfilled extensively only with the reinstatement of Statehood to J&K, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary reiterated demand and said it is pertinent for NC-led Government to show more accountability.
While speaking to media in Srinagar, Surinder Choudhary said restoration of Statehood is need of an hour so that the Government uses full powers for development of J&K.
Dy. CM said, “If National Conference (NC) has won the Assembly Polls, decisions should be taken as be us not LG Sinha”
“People have voted NC with expectations to mend the system and offer services for their greater good and welfare,” He said.
Coming down heavily on the BJP, Surinder Choudhary said that people are left high and dry in the constituencies of BJP MLAs.
Several incidents of illegal mining have surfaced in the constituency of LoP Sunil Sharma but he prefers silence on these issues, alleges Dy CM.
Surinder Choudhary further said, that LG Sinha should stop intervention in the matters of NC-led Government and allow it to work freely.
He also said, several issues in Kashmir need to be addressed post Operation Sindoor and NC Government must not be thwarted to work in this regard.
