First Kashmiri to Hold the Prestigious Post
Srinagar, July 18: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir spokesman Altaf Thakur has extended warm congratulations to senior party leader Er Anwar Khan on his appointment as General Secretary of BJP J&K.
Thakur described the appointment as a proud moment for the party, stating that Anwar Khan has become the first leader from Kashmir to hold this key organisational post.
In his congratulatory message, Thakur praised Khan’s unwavering dedication to the party’s mission and grassroots activism in the Valley. “Anwar Khan’s appointment is not just a personal achievement but a reflection of the BJP’s commitment to empowering dedicated leaders from every region of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
