Srinagar: In a significant event, 120 esteemed Moulvies from North Kashmir gathered at the North Campus, Kashmir University, Delina, for a Moulvies Conclave. The event, organized by 52 RR under the aegis of Kilo Force, aimed to bring together spiritual leaders to discuss pressing issues affecting the region.
The conclave commenced at 1100 hours with a welcome note by Mr. Mehraj Khurshid Malik, setting the tone for the event. This was followed by the recitation of Tilawat and Nath Sharif, which added a solemn touch to the proceedings.
Four insightful lectures were delivered during the conclave, focusing on critical issues affecting the region. Mohammad Ramzan Dar spoke about the growing threat of drug abuse in the region, emphasizing the need for collective efforts to combat this menace. Manzoor Ahmad Dar presented an overview of ongoing development projects in Kashmir, highlighting the progress made in road and rail connectivity.
Shabir Ahmad Magray addressed the dangers of cybercrime and associated unlawful practices, cautioning the audience about the importance of being vigilant in the digital age. Ishfaq Ahmad Mir delivered a thought-provoking lecture on the importance of healthy living and preventive measures for the community, emphasizing the need for adopting good health habits.
The lectures were followed by an interactive session, where attendees posed thought-provoking questions to the panel. The discussions centered around concerns about drug peddling, anti-Islamic activities, and promoting good health habits among youth. The panel members provided brief yet satisfactory responses, addressing the concerns of the audience.
