APRIL 11: With a rapid surge in theft cases across Jammu city, the enraged locals did not hold the temperament and paraded the thief who was caught red-handed pulled the earrings of a woman in Link Road.
Leaving no stone unturned to humiliate and embarrass the thief, the people took laws in their hands by blacking his face, shaving his head half and parading him semi-naked.
As per the reports, the thief is of Reasi district and was punished by the locals around including the son of woman whose earrings were pulled right from her ear in the broad daylight.
The eye-witnesses reveal that he was trying to flee but his motorcycle didn’t start promptly and was caught on the spot.
Right at the moment, he was thrashed and “CHOR” was written on his forehead.
The thief was paraded to Pacca Danga Police Station in Jammu.
Taking laws in hands and punishing somebody to extreme level reflects “Talabani Mindset” and mounting frustration with the rising thefts in the region.
