Jammu: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered a fresh round of administrative transfers and postings, aiming to improve efficiency and governance across various departments in the Union Territory.
As per Government Order No. 843-JK(GAD) of 2025, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse, IAS (AGMUT:2016), has been posted as the Managing Director of Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited. His appointment follows his transfer to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and is effective immediately.
In a separate order — Government Order No. 844-JK(GAD) of 2025 — the General Administration Department has reshuffled several JKAS officers. Sham Lal Abrol, JKAS, has been transferred from his current role as Collector, ERA Jammu, and posted as Deputy Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Jammu. Meanwhile, Vishal Kumar Sadhotra, Jr. Scale JKAS, who was serving as BDO Pancheri, has been relieved of his current assignment, and his services have been placed at the disposal of the Tourism Department for further posting.
Additionally, Aditi Singhaal, Jr. Scale JKAS, has been transferred from her post as CDPO Rajouri and appointed as Under Secretary to the Government in the Tourism Department.
