Jammu, September 7: Police have arrested six alleged members of the ‘Khouf Gang’ in the Arnia area of Jammu and recovered a pistol, ammunition and sharp-edged weapons from their possession.
The case relates to an incident reported on September 3, when the accused allegedly threatened Ashwani Kumar at Kool Kalan by displaying a pistol and sharp-edged weapons.
Following the complaint, Police Station Arnia registered a case and launched an investigation. All six accused were subsequently taken into custody.
During searches, police recovered a pistol with a magazine, three live rounds and five sharp-edged weapons from the accused.
Further investigation is underway to determine whether the accused are linked to any other criminal activities.
