Kathua: In a strong crackdown on the drug mafia, the Kathua administration demolished properties worth ₹5 crore belonging to known drug peddlers.
The action was carried out under the direct supervision of Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Minhas, with heavy police deployment led by SSP Shobhit Saxena ensuring security at the site.
Sources revealed that more such demolitions are expected in the coming days as authorities intensify their campaign against the drug network that’s been wreaking havoc on local communities.
DC Minhas and SSP Saxena are reportedly working on a comprehensive action plan to root out the drug menace from the district.
