APRIL 7: A suspected criminal was held with two kg Ganja and an illegal weapon in the course of a routine patrol in Jammu.
Bhuvan Prasad Kewat of Chhattisgarh, fled from the spot after catching site of the Police while he was traveling to Bhagatpur via Ring Road.
The Police found it suspicious and ran followed him. After nabbing Kewat, Police searched his bag and recovered two kg of Ganja and a pistol.
Police have booked Kewat under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotroic Substances (NDPS) Act and Arms Act and launched investigation in this regard.
