Srinagar, November 2: The All India Football Federation (AIFF), with the support of the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council (JKSC), will conduct elections for the executive body of the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) on November 25.
The election process is being carried out in accordance with the court’s directions issued on October 27, 2026, and the guidelines applicable to sports organisations.
A meeting was held with representatives of the AIFF, JKSC, football clubs and various district-level stakeholders to discuss the election process, eligibility requirements and other related procedures.
The AIFF has started the election process, which includes receiving nominations and verifying documents submitted by candidates and other eligible participants.
Eligible voters and club representatives have been asked to submit their eligibility claims along with supporting documents within three days to the designated email address: [email protected].
The Electoral Officer will review the submitted documents and take further action as per the prescribed election rules.
The JK Sports Council has assured the AIFF of full support to ensure that the elections are conducted in a transparent and organised manner, with the participation of all eligible stakeholders.
