In consultation with Tarun Chugh, Ashok Koul, and other senior leaders, Sat Sharma announced the following appointments for the upcoming by-elections for both constituencies. These appointments have been made in the interest of ensuring effective coordination and smooth management of all election-related activities in the respective constituencies. These appointments, made under the guidance of senior leadership, are aimed at ensuring effective coordination, prompt decision-making, and smooth management of all election-related activities in the respective constituencies.
Taking serious cognizance of the unfortunate incident of disrespect to the sacred Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in Samba, the BJP constituted a high-level committee to assess the ground situation and meet the community elders.
The committee would be headed by Dr. Narinder Singh, with its members as LoP Sunil Sharma, former MLC S. Tarun Chugh said that the Bharatiya Janata Party condemns the incident in the harshest possible terms. He said that such an act of disrespect towards sacred symbols and sentiments is absolutely unacceptable in a civilized society. He emphasized that BJP remains committed to maintaining peace, social harmony, and religious respect in Jammu and Kashmir, while also ensuring that the party’s political and organizational focus remains steadfast on transparent, people-centric governance and strong representation in the upcoming elections.
Sat Sharma, while addressing the meeting, said that the BJP is moving ahead with unity and commitment to serve the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP J&K is working to build a peaceful, prosperous, and developed J&K. The upcoming by-elections are an opportunity to strengthen this mission. The appointments made today reflect the party’s confidence in experienced leadership and its grassroots strength, he said.
Dr. Jitendra Singh said that the BJP has transformed the political landscape of J&K with its consistent focus on good governance and public outreach. He said that the BJP has emerged as the voice of every section of society in J&K. Our workers are our strength, and the organizational discipline we demonstrate will ensure a decisive victory in the coming elections, he stated.
Sunil Sharma emphasized that the party’s election preparedness in both Jammu and Kashmir regions showcases its expanding base and unwavering commitment to people’s issues. He said that the BJP will take the message of peace, progress, and inclusive development to every household. The BJP’s approach is rooted in service, not power, he asserted.
