APRIL 22: While trying to flee from Police custody, the wanted criminal succumbs to injuries at a hospital on Tuesday.
J&K Police team went to Amritsar in Punjab to arrest wanted criminals with the support of Punjab Police.
It is learnt that the Police apprehended Mustaq Ali alias Raj Ali alias Bacchu Don of Kikri Morh, Bari Brahama and one more accused wanted in criminal case.
While returning from Amritsar, the accused attacked the Police personnel and tried to snatch their service weapon.
In the course of this grapple, the four Police personnel received injuries and Mushtaq Ali fell on the road and received grievous injuries.
The injured accused was referred to GMC Jammu for treatment of multiple injuries where doctors declared him dead.
A case under the relevant section of the Police stands registered and further investigation is underway.
