APRIL 19: A mini bus met with an accident in Awantipora resulting in injury of four persons on Saturday.
As per the reports, an overspeeding mini bus lost control and struck the divider near Jammu-Srinagar National Highway at Awantipora leaving four persons injured. It is learnt that four persons travelling have been referred to nearby hospital among which one, who was critical, was evacuated to Srinagar hospital for treatment of multiple injuries.
The identification of the injured have been done – Sumitra and Hari Shankar resident of Chhattisgarh, Mukesh Kumar of Akhnoor in Jammu and Vikas resident of Jammu.
In the meantime, Police has taken into account the issue and launched further investigation in this regard.
