APRIL 8: In a bid to maintain tranquil atmosphere and thwart terror threats, Army has intensified surveillance in upper reaches of Doda with the melting of snow that has paved way for track.
This move comes a day after ongoing operations against terrorists who infiltrate from across International Border in Kathua since a few weeks.
As per the reports, high-tech gadgets are being used by security forces at higher altitude to ensure security.
Also, over the one year, the Jammu Division has witnessed spate of terror attacks with districts like Kathua, Udhampur, Doda and Kishtwar becoming terror-infested.
In the recent times, Kathua terror attack has seen supreme sacrifice of four policemen and 2 terrorists were gunned down.
The inclusive operation by Army, Police, BSF and CRPF helped in combatting the terrorists.
