APRIL 21: On Monday, Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (NC) President Dr. Farooq Abdullah grieved over the flash floods that occurred in Ramban district.
While speaking to press, Dr. Farooq Abdullah stated that the whole village has been destroyed and said hope Government takes notes of this devastating incident
NC stalwart said, “An entire village has come down. Three people have died in this major disaster. I am hopeful that the Government of India and the Prime Minister pay attention to it.”
Pertinent to mention that at least three people died and over 100 were rescued in incessant rain of Ramban that triggered flash floods. In view of this, Jammu-Srinagar National Highway has been blocked and only Light Motor Vehicles are plying from Kashmir to Jammu via Mughal Road.
