OCT 04: On the heels of spoting a Pakistani drone hovering over a village along International Border (IB) in Samba of Jammu and Kashmir, security forces have launched a search operation.
It is learnt that drone-like object was witnessed approaching towards Indian territory from Pakistani side anf hovered over Nanga village in Ramgarh sector.
Following this, the Army personnel and Police teams were promptly pressed into action to thwart any sort of airdropping of any payload like narcotics and weapons across the border.
Notably, the search operation is underway and heavy deployment of the security forces has been done in the adjoining villages as precautionary measure.
Currently, the security forces have cautioned the general public in the adjacent villages in the border belt of Samba to share the details if found anything suspicious.
A joint team of Army and Police have been meticulously scanning the adjoining scattered habitation to ensure the peace and tranquility remains firm in the region.
In the past, the balloons with Pakistan engraved on it has entered Indian territory in Samba from across the International Border. Security forces in this regard have been vigilant and have foiled such incidents.
