APRIL 1: J&K CM Omar Abdullah has clarified that Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s upcoming visit to Jammu and Kashmir has nothing to deal with Kathua encounter and is a routine affair.
Claiming that Amit Shah’s visit was scheduled in advance, CM Omar Abdullah emphasized that his visit is meant for public rallies in Jammu. Omar said he (Amit Shah) will hold security discussions, assess and inaugurate development projects in Srinagar.
At the sidelines of inaugurating the free Smart City buses for women in Srinagar, CM Omar Abdullah gave information about the Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s upcoming visit to J&K.
