SRINAGAR, 6 Feb: Nasir Aslam Wani Advisor to J&K CM said it is quite unfortunate that incidents like Kulgam (ex-serviceman killing) and Baramulla (truck driver killing) take place wherein innocents loose their lives.
When such incidents occur, media reaches out to the elected Government regardless of knowing the fact that Police comes under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in J&K.
Wani asked media to question LG Manoj Sinha in this regard owing to the fact that when security meetings are held elected Government is not part of it.
Nasir Aslam Wani highlighted the recent security meet of LG Manoj Sinha with Union Home Minister Amit Shah wherein elected CM Omar Abdullah wasn’t invited.
Severely reprimanding the Government, Nasir Wani reiterated his demand of restoration of Statehood which will ensure uniform action in this regard and then National Conference will be answerable to all these questions.
“We are not part of any decision-making with regard to eradicating crime, we are not part of any big decision on the ground level so how one can hold us responsible,” said Wani.
Stop playing with J&K, restore Statehood unequivocally stated Wani to Centre over the recent Kulgam and Baramulla killings.
