New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah changed their display pictures (DPs) on social media platform X on the anniversary of Operation Sindoor, paying tribute to the Indian armed forces.
In a post on X, Prime Minister Modi said that during Operation Sindoor, the armed forces displayed exceptional bravery and gave a strong response to those who attacked Indian citizens. He urged people to change their display pictures on X, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp as a mark of respect for the forces and the success of the operation.
Home Minister Amit Shah described Operation Sindoor as a historic mission that demonstrated the precise strike capability of the armed forces, accurate intelligence gathering, and strong political determination. He said the operation sent a clear message to enemies that India’s forces can strike terror networks wherever they hide.
Shah also paid tribute to the courage and sacrifice of the armed forces on the occasion.
Notably, the Indian armed forces launched Operation Sindoor on May 7, 2025, in response to the Pahalgam attack, targeting terror hideouts across the border.
