Pulwama, October 19: A 70-year-old woman was allegedly killed inside her residence in Parigam village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday morning, officials said.
The woman was identified as Jani Begum, wife of Amin Bhat, a resident of Parigam, Pulwama.
According to local residents, an unidentified person allegedly entered her house during Fajr prayers and attacked her with a knife, causing fatal injuries. She reportedly died at the scene.
Police reached the spot and initiated an investigation into the incident.
