JULY 29: With resolute agitations from nook and corner of nation, crying heart out, while demanding “Avenge Pahalgam”, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday put an end to those heart-wrenching cries and outrightly stated in Lok Sabha that all three terrorists involved in Pahalgam carnage have been killed in ‘Operation Mahdev’ during an encounter in Srinagar’s Dachigam.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah confirmed – Suleiman Shah alias Hashim Musa, Jibran and Hamza Afghani – involved in Pahalgam bloodshed that claimed the lives of 26 people were gunned down in yesterday’s gunfight in Dachigam in Srinagar.
HM Amit Shah said, “I want to brief on ‘Operation Mahadev’, which raged yesterday. In this operation, three terrorists, Suleiman, Jibran, and one other, Afghani were eliminated in a joint operation conducted by Army, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police.”
Shah added, “Suleiman was a terrorist affiliated with the LeT, and all three were classified as A-grade terrorists.”
Pahalgam terror attack resulted in ‘Operation Sindoor’ wherein more than 100 terrorists were neutralized and 9 terror infrastructures in PoK were destroyed by Indian Armed Forces.
Nation witnessed widespread protests and agitations expressing solidarity in Pan India, demanding Pahalgam to be avenged at the earliest.
