APRIL 29: Days after Pahalgam carnage which resulted in suspension of tourism in the Kashmir valley, the Government authorities have apprised that all major tourist destinations, including Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Dal Lake, and the Mughal Gardens, will remain functional to welcome visitors.
As per the reports, the tourist footfall is steadily surging at key locations like Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Sonamarg, and other areas.
Tourists are roaming freely devoid of any panic and amid the thick security cover.
It is learnt that only off-beat destinations which contribute fewer to tourism have been temporarily closed.
Tourists are being welcomed overwhelmingly and locals along with tourism stakeholders are fully facilitating their stay.
