Jammu, May 15: According to meteorological forecasts, weather conditions across Jammu and Kashmir are expected to remain mostly dry over the coming days, although isolated thundershower activity may occur in several areas, mainly during afternoon and evening hours.
The forecast indicates that dry weather is likely to prevail on May 15 and 16 during the first half of the day. However, some parts of the Union Territory may witness thundershowers later in the afternoon, evening or night.
On May 17 and 18, weather conditions are expected to remain generally stable, with only a few places likely to receive brief rain showers accompanied by thunder towards evening hours.
For May 19, there is a possibility of short thundershower activity beginning from early morning in some regions, though no prolonged rainfall spell is expected.
Between May 20 and 21, weather is likely to stay mostly dry for the majority of the day, but chances of isolated thundershowers will continue.
Officials have also warned that gusty winds, hailstorms and brief intense showers may occur in some areas along with thunderstorm activity during this period.
