JAMMU, MARCH 11: A heated argument was witnessed between People’s Conference Chief Sajad Lone and MLAs of National Conference over setting up of GMC Handwara in J&K Legislative Assembly on Tuesday.
In the course of Question Hour, Several MLAs of National Conference demanded that GMC Handwara to be established between Handwara and Kupwara.
Lone said foremost concern is that there should be proper allocation of funds. On it, Health Minister
Sakina Itoo said that she has taken up the matter of finance with Centre.
Reacting to it, Sajad Lone said confirm us has Centre responded to the letter yet. As NC MLAs began countering PC chief (Sajad Lone), he blamed them for snatching the Engineering College in Kupwara.
Lone targeted NC of playing politics over such issues leading to exchange of words between him and Minister Sakina Itoo.
