Jammu: The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir has issued an administrative order recalling six officers from the Union Territory of Ladakh and deputing eight new officers to Ladakh. This reshuffle is aimed at strengthening administrative operations and ensuring better governance across both Union Territories.
The recalled officers include Mohammad Narir Sheikh, Swaran Singh, Abdul Majid, Inzar Ahmad Rana, Junald Ahmad Bhat, and Khanzada Mohd. Usman, who will return to Jammu and Kashmir for their next assignments. On the other hand, eight officers from Jammu and Kashmir have been deputed to Ladakh for a tenure of two years or until further orders. These officers will retain their promotion prospects with their parent departments during the deputation period.
The officers assigned to Ladakh include Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, Rakesh Dubey, Abdul Qyume, Ibad-ur-Rehman, Ravi Shankar Sharma, Hidaibullah Mir, Dewar Habilb, and Bhushan Kumar Singh. They are expected to report to the General Administration Department in Ladakh for further duties.
This move is part of an ongoing effort to improve administrative collaboration and governance between Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, ensuring that both regions receive effective administrative support and leadership.
