MAY 2: On Friday, Delhi Court issued notices to Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and LoP Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald money laundering case.
Special Judge Vishal Gogne said “Right to be heard at any stage breathes life breathes into a fair trial.”
Vishal Gogne set up the next hearing for May 8.
Pertinent to mention that Enforcement Directorate (ED) commenced the investigation in 2021 after Magistrate Court took cognizance of complaint filed by senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy in June 2014.
The Congress party has accused Centre of using ED and other agencies for political vengeance.
