New Delhi, Jul 1 : Commercial LPG cylinder prices have been reduced by ₹183.50 with effect from July 1, bringing much-needed relief to restaurants, hotels, dhabas and other businesses that depend on commercial cooking gas.
Following the latest revision, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has come down from ₹3,113.50 to ₹2,930.
This is the first reduction in commercial LPG prices in 2026 after a series of sharp hikes over the past few months. Commercial cylinder prices were revised upwards several times between March and June, including a ₹195.50 increase in April, an unprecedented ₹993 hike in May, and a further ₹42 increase in June, largely due to supply disruptions and higher global crude oil prices amid tensions in West Asia.
With prices now reduced, businesses in the hospitality and food service sectors are expected to see lower operating costs, providing some relief after months of rising fuel expenses.
There has been no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinders. The latest revision applies only to commercial LPG cylinders.
