APRIL 5: On Saturday, a press conference was chaired by senior Congress leader and MLA Bandipora Nizamuddin Bhat wherein he categorically said nothing should be passed by overlooking the elected Government.
MLA Bhat appealed to Union Home Minister Amit Shah to not bypass the elected Government in Jammu and Kashmir and take the Government in confidence vis-a-vis the imperative decisions.
Bhat said, “It is highly requested that the elected Government is in place. Since, the Government has got huge mandate which signifies victory of democracy and people of the nation. Hence, elected Government must be taken into confidence when any important decision has to be taken.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to arrive in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday. He is on a three-day visit to UT.
The appeal MLA Bhat comes amid the row of transfer of 48 JKAS by LG Manoj Sinha.
