APRIL 1: In a recent development, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has increased 4-5 percent of toll charges across the country.
The decision of hike in toll charges comes into effect on Tuesday as confirmed by the officials of Highway Ministry.
Additionally, it is learnt that the surge in toll rate are part of an annual review process and this revision is conducted every year starting from April 1.
It is learnt that toll hike may impact commuters who take major routes.
