MARCH 29: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that Jammu has been witnessing terrorism since some time and the reason behind this is that Army from Jammu region was deputed to Ladakh during China’s attack.

CM Omar Abdullah refused to answer a question on security situation in Kashmir and Jammu, saying that he does not want to politicize the situation.
CM Omar said efforts are underway to eradicate militancy in the region and ensure tranquile. Omar Abdullah also apprised that it was a new terror group that has infiltrated and luckily they encountered cops rather than people otherwise situation would have been different.
