JAMMU, November 2: A young man from Kishtwar has postponed his wedding to attend a convention organised by National Conference MP Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi in Srinagar on November 3.
Abrar, a resident of Kishtwar, said his wedding ceremonies were scheduled for November 1, 2 and 3. However, due to Aga Ruhullah’s convention on November 3, he decided to postpone his wedding.
He said attending the convention was equally important to him, which led him to change his wedding plans.
Abrar revealed that he had known Aga Ruhullah for the past two-and-a-half to three years and had also discussed his wedding plans with him a few months ago.
He said Aga Ruhullah has been raising issues concerning youth, unemployment and the rights of Jammu and Kashmir, which motivated him to travel to Srinagar to express his support.
Abrar added that he would continue to stand with Aga Ruhullah as long as he remained on what he considers the right path.
He also urged people to understand Aga Ruhullah’s views and position before forming an opinion about him.
Expressing confidence in his decision, Abrar said he believes Aga Ruhullah has taken his stand after careful consideration.
