SAHIL BHAT
OCT 22: With expectations of scintillating grilling by the Opposition and stern counters by the ruling National Conference-led Government, the action-packed Autumn Session of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly will set the ball rolling tomorrow.
It is learnt that the Leader of Opposition, Sunil Sharma said that the opposition (BJP) will question the NC Govt for the electoral promises. LoP Sharma added that the Government has fallen flat to deliver on its commitment whether that is promise of 200 free units of electricity, 12 LPG Cylinders per household or other assurances to people.
LoP further added BJP will question the Government over rampant unemployment.
“In the election, the Government promised to create one lakh jobs for the youth, but nothing in this regard has been done. We will put questions to NC about failing to create job avenues,” LoP.
Furthermore, Kashmir-based opposition parties like PDP, PC, and AIP are likely come down heavily on the Government over statehood, reservation rationalisation, and other issues confronting the region.
