JUNE 19: With the re-opening of tourist parks in Bhaderwah of Doda district, the Rashtriya Rifles stepped up the security and intensified the patrolling.
As per the reports, the increased patrolling as a heightened security measure aims at ensuring the safety of the locals and tourists in the region.
It is learnt that to monitor the hard terrains in remote areas, drones are being deployed to carry out aerial surveillance.
The senior official of the 4 Rashtriya Rifles said, “It is pertinent to strengthen the security grid devoid of any gaps, and continuous patrolling to ensure area domination along with synergy among the personnel.”
Besides, Bhaderwah, has been subject to terror-related incidents in the past and the deployment of the Army has helped monitor and thwart such anti-national incidents.
