Reasi: In a reshuffle ordered in the interest of administration, several police officers in Reasi district have been transferred with immediate effect.
As per official order number 16/2025 dated June 2025, Probationary Sub-Inspector Raghav Chalotra has been shifted from Police Station Katra and posted as In-Charge of Police Post Adhkuwari.
The reshuffle involves 14 officers of different ranks, including Inspectors, Sub-Inspectors, ASIs, Head Constables, Constables, and SPOs. The movement aims to strengthen ground policing and streamline departmental operations across key locations in the district.
Among other changes, police officers from DPL Reasi, P/S Mahore, PP Malikote, PP Kakryal, and the ASP Office Katra have been assigned new duties. The transfers include both field assignments and administrative responsibilities.
All concerned officers have been directed to join their new places of posting without delay. The order reflects the department’s commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring effective policing, especially in sensitive areas like Adhkuwari that witness heavy footfall due to ongoing pilgrim activities.
