Jammu: The court has remanded accused in Thar Road Rage case, to six days of police custody. As per reports, the 3rd Additional Munsiff/JMIC Jammu, Arvind Manhas, has remanded Manan Anand of Nanak Nagar Extension, the main accused in the Thar Road Rage case, to six days of police custody.
The FIR is registered at Gandhi Nagar Police Station under Sections 281, 125(a), and 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Police sought nine days’ remand, citing the seriousness of the allegations and the need for further investigation. The court, after reviewing the case diary and medical fitness certificate, granted custody till August 5. It also directed that the accused be medically examined every 24 hours and produced before a competent court before the remand expires.
