Jammu: Two more people have tested positive for the Covid-19 in Jammu and Kashmir, taking the total number of cases in the Union Territory to 12. Of the fresh infections both were reported from Budgam district in Kashmir valley. Earlier six cases of COVID-19 have been reported from Kashmir and four from Jammu province.
Urging people not to panic, the Health official said the condition of all the patients is stable. “The present variant of COVID-19 does not exhibit severe symptoms, and most cases are mild. That is the reason, the Centre has not issued any guidelines, but advised all to remain vigilant,” he stated, adding, the J&K Government is taking necessary precautions. He advised people to undergo a test if they have any symptoms and remain isolated.
