Reasi: In an administrative reshuffle aimed at streamlining police functioning, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Reasi, Paramvir Singh (JKPS), on Thursday issued Order No. 359 of 2025, effecting transfers and postings of twelve police officers across the district with immediate effect.
According to the order, Inspector Khayati Maan Khajuria has been transferred from Police Station Katra to Police Station Reasi, while Inspector Ranjeet Singh has been posted as SHO Katra, replacing him. Inspector Sumit Magotra has been posted as SHO Pouni, and Inspector Narinder Paul Singh has been posted as SHO Ransoo.
Other transfers include Inspector Sohan Singh Bandral (from PS Pouni to DPL Reasi) and PSI Lalit Sharma (from DPL Reasi to PS Ransoo). PSI Abhishek Partap Singh has been posted as I/O at PS Katra, and PSI Sawar Hussain (2nd Border Battalion) has been shifted to PP Dewal as I/C.
Similarly, PSI Mayank Jamwal has been posted as I/O at PS Katra, PSI Gulshan Kumar of IR 23rd Battalion has been made I/C PP Thanole, PSI Rakshat Singh Jamwal has been appointed I/C PP Bhambla, and PSI Ashutosh Singh has been posted as I/O at PS Reasi.
The order states that the officers “shall be relieved forthwith.”
