MAY 7: Rajesh Gupta, President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad J&K Ladakh, has extended his heartfelt appreciation for the Government of India’s vision and the Indian Armed Forces’ successful execution of Operation Sindoor. This operation targeted terrorist structures inside Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) and marked a significant milestone in India’s fight against terrorism.
In retaliation to the April 22, 2025, Pahalgam attack, the Indian Army conducted precise strikes, destroying nine terrorist locations, including headquarters of various terrorist organizations inside Pakistan and PoJK. This operation demonstrates the willpower and resolve of the Government of India and showcases the remarkable capabilities of the Indian Army and Air Force.
While the Indian Armed Forces precisely hit terrorist camps without harming civilians or non-military establishments, the Pakistan Army fired upon civilian populations in areas like Poonch, Manjha Kot, and Karnah, causing destruction and loss of life. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad stands in solidarity with the families of those who lost their lives in Pakistan Army’s unprovoked firing on innocent civilians. We are deeply concerned about the destruction caused in Poonch and Karnah and assure all possible support to the affected families.
The VHP J&K team, led by President Rajesh Gupta, has activated all its district units and state team to keep a close eye on the situation and provide assistance wherever needed, including Shri Shakti Dutt Sharma, Vice President; Abhishek Gupta, General Secretary; Rajender Gupta, Sangathan Mantri; Karan Singh and Satish Kotwal, Seh Mantri; and Kartik Soodan, Bajrang Dal Convener. Shri Mukesh Vinayak, Kshetriy Sangathan Mantri, is in touch with the state team and has assured all assistance from the center if required.
We commend the Indian Government and Armed Forces for their bravery and strategic execution of Operation Sindoor. Our volunteers are ready to support the nation in this fight against terrorism. VHP volunteers are prepared to provide blood donation services, medical aid, and other necessary assistance to those affected by terrorism and violence. We believe that this operation marks the beginning of the end of terrorism. We will continue to stand united with our forces and government in this noble endeavor.
