APRIL 26: On April 22, terrorists gunned down 26 tourists (25 from Indian origin and one from Nepal) and injured several at Baisaran meadow in Pahalgam of Anantnag district, Jammu and Kashmir. Tourists shouting for help, their voices resonating the valley in conjunction with the gunshots fired before inquiring the religion.
Who were Terrorists?
As per the identification the three terrorists Hasim Musa and Ali Bhai were from Pakistan and Adil Hussain Tholer (Anantnag) and Ahsan (Pulwama) were local Kashmiris. With terrorists, in every reel exuding style, makes them inspired by Bollywood. Actually, look like bunch of teenagers, holding weapons aiming to spread fear among the people need the dealt with iron fist. The attack carried out by the group affiliated to proscribed terror outfit LeT.

How did Pan India React:
Widespread protests erupted pan India drawing severe criticism for Pakistan. Pak flags were ablaze, effigies were torched across various states to denounce the barbaric act.
RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat said that in Pahalgam, terrorists killed tourists after inquiring their religion, adding that a Hindu would never commit such an act. Without naming Pakistan, he said some people will not change, no matter what you do, they persistently create troubles to the world.

VHP chief Alok Kumar, on Pahalgam carnage, called for integration of Pakistan occupied Kashmir into India to eradicate terrorism. Bajrang Dal J&K president Rakesh Bajrangi besides torching the effigy of pitched waging war against Pakistan in view of Pahalgam attack.
PM Modi cut short his Saudi Arabia trip and returned the same day to India. After roaring in Bihar to reach out to the end of the earth to nab the accused, PM Narendra Modi on April 27 in an episode of “Mann Ki Baat”, severely reprimanded the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam and assured the families of victims that justice would prevail.
On the heels of the terror attack, Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited the Pahalgam and even met the families of victims of the devastating attack. Amit Shah held the security review meeting in J&K wherein LG Manoj Sinha was present but CM Omar Abdullah was not invited.



A day after the attack, an all-party-meet was chaired by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh wherein everyone came down heavily on the attack. J&K Cabinet held meeting presided by CM Omar Abdullah and all-party-meeting in Srinagar which witnessed prominent political figures former CM Mehbooba Mufti, former CM Ghulam Nabi Azad, Congress chief Tariq Karra and others were present.
