JULY 26: Asserting that ‘Operation Sindoor’ is unequivocal and categoric message and answer to people aiding and abetting terrorism, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Upendra Dwivedi stated that all powers intending to hurt India will be dealt with iron fist.
Addressing a large gathering at Drass in Kargil on the occasion of 26th Kargil Vijay Diwas, COAS General Upendra Dwivedi said that today we commemorate the supreme sacrifice of Indian Armed Forces who defended sovereignity of the nation.

“I in all sincerity express gratitude to the families of lionhearts who made the supreme sacrifice in Kargil war. Whole nations bows down to them. Kargil Vijay Diwas is not the festival of Kargil but whole nation… Remember in 1999, “Operation Vijay” earned commendable response from everyone.” Upendra Dwivedi said.
COAS emphasized, “Pahalgam carnage was injury to whole world…”
He also mentioned that in ‘Operation Sindoor’ soldiers ensured that India is shielded and guarded, adding, we attacked nine terror infrastructures in ‘Operation Sindoor’ without harming the innocents which was crystal clear answer to terror sympathizers that terrorism will not be pardoned.
