JUNE 23: On Monday, a local court granted National Investigation Agency (NIA) five-day remand of two terror associates involved in Pahalgam terror attack on April 22.
As per the report, two accused – Parvaiz Ahmad Jothar from Batkote in Pahalgam and Bashir Ahmad Jothar of Hill Park in Pahalgam – were arrested by NIA on Sunday in connection with the Pahalgam massacre that claimed the lives of 26 people.
“The arrested accused have disclosed the identities of three armed terrorists involved in the attack and said that they were Pakistani nationals,” NIA said.
It is learnt that the two accused were produced in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge, Jammu, Ritesh Kumar Dubey, and were sent to NIA custody for five days till June 27.
The two accused provided the logistical support to the terrorists involved in selective carnage in Pahalgam.
