FICCI FLO JK&L for setting up of all women industrial park in J&K

Jammu: KunwaraniRitu Singh, Founding Chairperson, FICCI FLO JK&L led a delegation to Directorate of Industries & Commerce, Udyog Bhawan to meet with the officials of the DPIIT along with NIC Team Jammu & Kashmir regarding new central sector schemes 2021 for industrial development of J&K.
The meeting was presided by RajenderRatnoo IAS, Joint Secretary, Department of Industrial Promotion & Internal Trade, Narender Singh Arneja, DDG & HOG, NIC, Yatinder Saxena, Senior Technical Director, NIC-DPIIT and Vishesh Singh, Senior Consultant, E&Y.
Among all the other prominent industrial associations present, FICCI FLO was the only forum representing women in industry & entrepreneurship. Advocating for greater participation of women in the industrial ecosystem, FICCI FLO members put across suggestions pertaining to single window clearances, ease of uploading documents, interest rebates, special subsidies for women and collateral free loans which were highly appreciated and taken note of by the Chair.
KunwaraniRitu Singh also put forward a proposal for setting up an all women industrial park in J&K on the lines of one already established in by FICCI FLO in Hyderabad accommodating 250 women entrepreneurs. FLO members present were Ruchika Gupta, Treasurer FICCI FLO JKL, Pooja Gandotra, Jt. Treasurer FICCI FLO JKL and members Ankita Bansal & Swati Dadheechi.
