May 29: In a significant step to combat terrorism and curb crime, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Rajesh Kumar Shravan issued warrants under the Jammu and Kashmir Public Safety Act against two persons on Thursday.
It is learnt that two persons, including an Overground Worker (OGW) of terrorists, were detained under the PSA in Kishtwar District of Jammu and Kashmir.
The two detainees have been identified as OGW Rustam Ali of Hunjala tehsil and notorious criminal Arshad Hussain of Guryan.
As per the orders by the DC Rajesh Shravan, the conducts of Rustam Ali have been found inimical for security for his involved in providing logistics and other support to terrorists.
DC Rajesh Shravan said, “Anyone who obstructs the execution of Government infrastructure projects is liable to punishment.”
As of now, as many as eight persons have been detained by the Deputy Commissioner of Kishtwar for sponsoring anti-national activities.
