JAMMU, March 5: MLA PDP MLA Waheed-ur-Rehman Para pressed for July 13 (Martyrs Day) to be observed as a holiday across Jammu and Kashmir.
MLA Parra said this on the third day of J&K Legislative Assembly and said that the sacrifices of 21 Muslim protestors must not go invain.
PDP MLA Waheed-ur-Rehman Para also pressed for resolution on Political Prisoners and demanded all the Kashmiri prisoners must be brought to Jammu and Kashmir.
He said “The prisoners imprisoned in 50 degree temperature outside J&K will start hating you for next 50 years”
Parra asked that just like you brought the resolution of Statehood, talk about the resolution pertaining to Human Security.
“Govt is using gun, UAPA, and jail to achieve means of peace in Jammu and Kashmir,” said MLA Parra.
“Govt has put its foot on spring, when the foot is stepped up there will be situations like 2008, 2010, 2014 and 2016,” warned Parra.
