APRIL 5: Border Security Force (BSF) personnel thwarted the infiltration bid and gunned down a Pakistani intruder along International Border (IB) at RS Pura sector of Jammu district.
As per the BSF, an intruder has been neutralized while he was attempting to cross the border.
It is learnt that on the intervening night of April 4 and 5, the soldiers observed suspicious movement during which intruder was seen crossing the International Border (IB). BSF troops asked intruder to stop but he ignored the multiple warnings and was shot dead.
Following this a strong protest has been lodged with Pakistani counterpart.
The identity of the intruder has not been ascertained yet.
