JAMMU, MARCH 25: Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Tuesday said that NC-led Government is determined for the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits and efforts are on this regard with Central Government.
“Being a victim of partition of 1947, I fully understand the pain of migration,” said Surinder Choudhary.
Choudhary assured Legislative Assembly that the Government will ensure whatever is best for the displaced population.
“Everyone is dejected by the migration. This is pain in the heart of Dr Farooq Abdullah, CM Omar Abdullah and people of Jammu and Kashhmir,” Deputy CM said in Assembly.
“National Conference has always been at the forefront of honourable return of Kashmiri Pandits. We want them back in homes with deep regards and proper security,” said Surinder Choudhary.
Choudhary pitched that NC would ensure rehabilitation of migrants belonging to other communities as well.
