MAY 26: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Monday said India has reported a total of 1,009 active Covid cases.
It is learnt that among 1,009 active Covid-19 cases 752 new cases recently have been confirmed.
As per the Government data, Kerala stands first in terms of active cases at 430.
Other states like Maharashtra is at 209, Delhi 104, Gujarat 83, and Karnataka at 47 in terms of Covid tally.
Union Health Secretary Punya Salila Srivastava, on Saturday, took stock of the matter pertaining to COVID cases reported across several states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Karnataka.
Pertinently, the Health Ministry remains fully committed to prevent any sort of untoward health situation and is proactive in its efforts to provide significant facilities to people.
